Judy Favor has been developing high performing teams and leaders for over 25 years. She successfully built and led nationally respected teams and developed leaders as an NCAA head softball coach before turning her attention to non-athlete teams as a Director, Assistant Dean, full-time faculty member, and consultant. 

 

An accomplished professional educator and speaker, her personal coaching and leadership experiences combined with academic research and expertise in team chemistry, personality science, mental skills development, and teaching provide a unique and practical perspective in her work with teams and leaders. She has worked with a variety of corporate, athletic, and military-affiliated leaders and teams as a leadership coach and team development consultant.

Experienced Adult Educator

Judy has been working with professionals from a variety of industries, including the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, for over 20 years. She is known for designing interactive, practical workshops that target working adults’ learning styles and preferences. In 2019, she was the Outstanding Graduate Faculty in the School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Studies at Kansas State University in Olathe where her graduate courses focus on coaching, team dynamics, interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, motivation, and conflict.

Hall of Fame Head Coach

Was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Columbus State University where she led her teams to 5 straight NCAA regionals, developed 6 All-Americans, 28 All-Region, 20 All Conference athletes, and finished with a 276-89 record over 7 years.  She is also a member of the Southeast Missouri State University Athletic Hall of Fame. As a private softball pitching coach, her athletes have gone on to play at at numerous NCAA and NAIA institutions across the United States.  

Published Author

At the University of Kansas, her research on the relationship between personality and coachability in NCAA D1 and D2 athletes received “Dissertation of the Year” honors in the College of Education. Additional research has been published in the Journal of Coaching Education, the International Journal of Sport Science and Coaching, the Journal of Sport Management, and Adult Learning.  In 2019, she created a mental skills workbook for athletes, Developing a Champion's Mindset: Tools to take YOUR Mental Game to the Next Level.

Laurie Harris, P.M.P, M.S.O.D., Consultant

Laurie Harris excels in helping organizations manage change and teaching leaders how to effectively conduct difficult conversations with team members to increase accountability and improve performance.

 

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), her global and domestic teams have often been

charged with implementing complex and critical projects and programs in the fast-moving technology sector. 

Her 25-year corporate career has included leading, managing, and developing a variety of programs, projects, and teams at several Fortune 500 companies including Boeing, Jeppeson, and VMware. 

 

A veteran program manager, Laurie possesses a unique ability to identify organizational road blocks and bring order to what others may perceive as chaos. She has mentored hundreds of emerging leaders and is a highly skilled and personable communicator and facilitator.
